Welcome to iPhone Development Austin
We're a small, informal group of developers/volunteers for a non-existent shadow organization coordinated by iPhone Wi-Fi email interested in learning more about iPhone development. We meet monthly at an irregularly disclosed location.
We'll post more information on the group soon, so check back later.
For now you can learn more about developing for the iPhone and iPod Touch on our Developer Resources page.

A Great Success!
A thank-you from Andrew:
Gentlefolk, I want to thank all of you for making our little event a great success. Milestones: 1) First social meeting of iPhone developers in Austin. Nuevo Leon FTW! 2) Technical discussions of simple programs written for native iPhone Cocoa and for the web in iUI and CodeIgniter. 3) Technical networking. 4) Submission of iHrrl to the Hackathon. Here's hoping the Cooley, Myer and Stedman team earn an award. While I didn't count the number of folks attending, I think we can all safely say that we had over 25 separate people drift through the meeting. We had about 15 people at dinner on Friday. Good personal networking was happening at every seat. In particular, I want to thank again the fine folks at Conjunctured. Truly, without their facility, this event would never have happened. Please consider working with them for all of your co-working needs. Also, Jim Hillhouse, as our apparel and schwag procurer, needs special recognition. What kind of iPhone developers would we be without black geek chic threads? Also, I want to thank Dominic Sagolla and Christopher Allen from the San Francisco team for welcoming our satellite into their event. Please invite us back. Hack-a-thon Entry
Despite Andrew's saying it didn't look like we would have a Hackathon entry (or perhaps because of it), one was submitted by iPhoneDevCamp-Austin.
Introducing: iHrrl
You have a rat in a box. The goal of iHrrl is to shake the phone and make the rat *just nauseated enough* to where you score points, but not too sick that it hurls, ending the game. If you slow or stop shaking the phone, the rat begins to recover and you start losing points.
iHrrl was shown live on stage at the main SF iPhoneDevCamp Sunday afternoon, broadcast live to all sites and any guests viewing. Christopher Allen says "The demo went great, got a lot of laughs."
The main team members were Steve, Tom and I. Others provided helpful suggestions and encouragement.
See previous event information at our Austin iPhoneDevCamp 2 page.
